This course is taught with a practical approach to food protection, with real-life experiences shared by the instructors and classmates alike. Remember, your goal is to become knowledgeable about the Massachusetts State Food Code of sanitation and food protection principles, and pass the food safety certification exam. You will then receive your certification as a Certified Food Manager, which is valid for 5 years nationally. Or, if you are interested in training workshop for your staff in basic food safety, you want everyone to learn the fundamentals and be on the same page regarding food safety and sanitation.
